7 days roadtrip around Malaysia (Ipoh part 2)

everybody did wake up and got prepared in time man..no joke..hahah first time everybody so punctual..haha damn rare ballz..left the dorm at 7 in the morning and walked bout 3km to the bus station! wat the hell 3km know!! no joke! we passed building such as :
one of the oldest police station in malaysia that caught fire..most of the building materials are made of wood as seen in the picture so means it's very old d la
ipoh high court

this is NOT a 5-star hotel okay..this is ipoh's railway station..cool rite?

we walked for bout 2 hours plus plus till we reached the bus station where we're supposed to take a bus to batu gajah where Kellie's Castle is located somewhere nearby there..since the bus wasn't there yet, me and wai hong had to shit..bugger the toilet there like wat the hell man..inside all d toilet bowl got shit except 1! and this one, no shit because on the door, got a SUPER BIG HOLE! you shit also ppl can see but cannot tahan then wai hong don't wanna take so i take la *gamble la hope nobody so crazy to go peep on me making my chocolate cake* and luckily there wasn't any gay arsehole doing that there okay! phewww...

we then headed to batu gajah which was one hour bus ride..when we reached the bus station there, we all waited la for a taxi cause the bus driver say wait for taxi there..if i see d driver again, gonna screw him ballz..so we waited..and waited and waited for bout another hour and YET still no taxi!

me : eh hungry la..wanna go buy bread opposite the road there got bakery?
darren : okay la let's go bitch
jin wen : eh eh go where? buy bread? come la come la

as soon as we crossed the road, i looked towards the petrol station which was just a few meters away from the bus station, and GUESS WHATTT??? damn many taxi's waiting and lepaking around there! wtf man! so jin wen quickly shouted across the road to inform the rest while we bought doughnut ballz :)

we bargained with the taxi driver and got Rm12 per taxi to kellie's castle..reasonable price..there was an entrance fee of RM5 per visitor
Kellie's Castle

side view of kellie's castle..see the 3 bulat bulat things in a row? that is supposed to be a lift shaft! so long ago also got lift d..

Kellie's Castle is a must visit place when one is in Ipoh..very historical and nice place but quite eerie abit la :( the castle was never completed because the wife don't wanna stay in Malaysia cause got alot of mosquito and bla bla bla..women..

some bitches playing on the roof of the castle..mamma never warn..knn

after spending bout an hour an a half at Kellie's, we made our way back to the bus station..some decided to walk back to the bus station cause wanna save money but after 1 minute of walking, we succumbed to taking the taxi back..haha

han meng and sin loong..action only wanna walk back and summor walk in the center of the road!

and so we took the bus back to the bus station in the afternoon, just in time for lunch time..walked passed st.michael institution (respect their scouts! *tabik!*)

this is just a small picture of a very big, very old, and historical school

we stopped by a small lil corner lot shop which serves prawn mee, curry mee, lam mee and many more local delicacies..what was fantastic about this shop is that they use PDA to take orders! and they send d order list either thru wifi or bluetooth to the kitchen and counter!! damn cool rite?

after having a good lunch, we headed for our next destination, Sam Poh Tong..for those who don quite understand chinese, 'tong' stands for temple in either canto or what la., anyway, there were a few famous 'tongs' in Ipoh until some of us got confused of wat 'tong' are we in!

sam poh tong entrance

wai hong and his sweeping monk

ling sen tong entrance (l-r : justin, sin loong and han meng)
since these temple's are located near or limestone hills, at ling sen tong, we went into the cave and climbed till the highest point we could reach on the hill..the route up was SO dark, we had to use our handphones light to make our way up :) alexander was so afraid of heights until he had to do this :
when we were goin down the steps, he was so scared till he sat on each step goin down slowly! haha and this comes from the guy who has climbed the Great Wall of China..hahaha

posing with the Goddess of Mercyhahah this is supposed to be the love god..ask your partner to sit next to you in front of him, both of you will get married soon :) love you alex :) when's our wedding then? You just say a date and ill marry u...MUAXX :)
after visiting the temples, we took the taxi back to YMCA to rest..sin loong, our destination planner, said we should visit the hot springs in ipoh! so we called for 2 more cabs to bring us there..everybody was like wearing short pants, hang towel on the shoulder, hold clothes on hand and you know la all lazy wanna bring bag..on the way in the taxi, the uncle told us d hot spring closed d! another said the hot spring is in the lost world of tambun which is something like sunway kind! so we don't know who to believe and we de-toured to jusco ipoh :( with all d towels, short shorts, clothes and stuffs..hahahah..after walking around awhile, we took the bus back to YMCA..

we had ipoh hor fan at one of it's famous shops in Ipoh which is actually steamed chicken, BIG fat juicy taugeh and something like rat's tail (lou shi fun)

competition to sell the ipoh hor fun was so tense that each shop had ANOTHER shop beside each other AND the original shops are just opposite one another! wtf?! we even got confused on which shop we had our dinner at..with a full and happy tummy, we set out again to find the LARGEST mamak in Ipoh as said by justin..
we found it tonight! *means we don't have to kill justin for walking damn far to find some mamak* we ordered d biggest thing there! TOSAI ANACONDA! it's the largest tosai i've ever seen and it's served with EIGHT different kind of sauce! woohoo..one word to describe : FUNTASTIC!
on the way back only we realised how far was the mamak away from YMCA *thx justin..looks like we're gonna kill you tonite anyway :)* had our routine activity that nite and lights out at 11 plus cause everyone was tired from walking so much today...yawnnnn!
next stop : PEARL OF THE ORIENT, PENANG!!!
